Menan is a city in Jefferson County, Idaho, and is part of the Idaho Falls, Idaho Metropolitan Statistical Area. As of the census of 2010, there were 741 people, 259 households, and 200 families residing in the small Idaho city.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 1.04 square miles (2.69 km2), all of it land. The population density was 712.5 inhabitants per square mile. There were 278 housing units at an average density of 267.3 per square mile. The racial makeup of the city was 92.3% White, 0.4% African American, 1.2% Native American, 4.0% from other races, and 2.0% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 10.4% of the population.
There were 259 households of which 41.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them. The average household size was 2.86 and the average family size was 3.31.
The median age in the city was 33.5 years. 30.5% of residents were under the age of 18; 8.3% were between the ages of 18 and 24; 22.6% were from 25 to 44; 25.7% were from 45 to 64; and 12.8% were 65 years of age or older. The gender makeup of the city was 50.6% male and 49.4% female.
